• The moment the orientation ended, I slipped out through the main doors, letting the cool breeze hit my face like a reset button. My head was still spinning from the speech and the applause that followed. I needed air.
• Standing there with the crowd of students slowly leaving the hall, I waited for my best friend.
• Tessa had forgotten something inside; probably her endless notebook of equations, so I waited by the stone bench near the building's entrance, hugging my arms to myself and thinking of the perfect revenge to exert on the Hive girls; there is no way I was letting those group of mischiefs get away with this.
