Chapter 57 Promises

• Dad and I are standing outside Eryn's hospital room, listening to what the doctor has to say. I am only catching bits and pieces of the conversation. I am too focused on Eryn. I can see her through the little window on the door. There is a tube down her throat, and wires and tubes seem to be connected to every inch of her body.
• "Trauma… Medically induced coma… Permanently marked by the future Alpha," is all I hear coming from the doctor, but the last part catches my attention.
