- Taking a deep breath to calm my rising frustration, I faced my employees with a forced smile and spoke in a tone laced with irritation. I couldn't possibly describe how angry I was, but I kept it in. All in due time.
- "I need to step out for a bit. Handle anything that comes up while I'm gone." Their nods of understanding did little to alleviate the tension building within me.
