• "I really missed you here, Nessa. It was awful without you. No best friend to talk to about the craziest things. No sleepovers or slumber parties. It was so boring." Amelia said, resting her head on my shoulder as I wrapped my arms around her.
• As we sat by the familiar stone in our secret hideout, we started sharing what we’d been through during our time apart. Amelia decided to go first, claiming she was more wounded from living alone in what she liked to call a secluded place.
