• As I walked alongside the doctor towards the elevator, a sense of unease settled over me like a heavy cloak. His nervous energy was palpable, radiating off him in waves that set my own instincts on edge. It was clear he was hiding something significant, something he feared would provoke a strong reaction from me.
• I couldn't help but feel a pang of frustration at the situation. As an alpha, I prided myself on being approachable and understanding, someone my people could turn to without fear. But now, faced with the doctor's palpable anxiety, I couldn't shake the feeling that I had somehow failed in my duties. Where was this nervousness coming from? What could possibly be so dire that the doctor felt compelled to hide it from me?
