Chapter 25 Twenty Five

• Not long after Jake left the living room, Sarah also wished her employer good night and left for what Rosa presumed would be her room. But where Sarah actually went to was Jake's room. She tapped on the door very lightly, so light that if someone were standing nearby, they wouldn't hear the sound unless their hearing was really sharp.
• Being used to such kind of notification, Jake immediately got up and opened the door for her to come in. Ever since he'd begun his relationship with the housekeeper, he'd adopted the habit of always locking his door whenever he was in his room. This habit was to ensure that his mother would never be able to barge in and catch them sleeping together.
• "Annoying, eh?", Sarah asked tentatively, searching his face to see how he was feeling.
