Chapter 22 Twenty Two

• "Hurry up, man," Joey grumbled, tapping his right foot impatiently on the curb. He had somewhere to be right after they were done here, and he didn't want to be late at all. Unfortunately, Jake had been careless enough to forget where he had kept his earphones. That's what he was searching for in Joey's car.
• "Whew. Seems I can't find it," Jake finally sighed as he came out of the car and slammed the door shut. "I could have sworn I left it in the car the last time."
• "Apparently, you didn't," Joey grumbled as he turned to lead the way into the men's clothing store.
