Chapter 17 EXPLICIT

• Rachel on the phone and taking care of business and after her conference calls; Jason came back with lunch he had cooked for them both. He had been helping her on the ranch even after she left to do some work in the office. He on the other hand continued till midday. He had changed his phone number as he said he was and changed his passwords in case she tried to get into his email and on his laptop. He checked his email while he was it when he slammed the laptop shut and turned on the television she had in her office. There on the media was his ex-talking to Hollywood reporter about Rachel and about him. She was given a false story that they were eating it up. Rachel was watching it as well. Eve was saying that both Jason and Rachel had a relationship even before she was eighteen years old. Rachel quickly called her lawyer and who had then phoned the station and the coverage was disrupted. However, the damage was done, and the social media platform was blowing up her fans and haters going at it. Jason didn't want to be on camera and now he had no choice. Her parents were calling her to find out what that was all about. She told them about Eve and what had happened. She called and was setting up an appointment to clarify everything especially addressing the relationship part. She had gotten a message from Levi asking was that why she didn't want to go out with him. She snapped at him, "You are married now. Don't drill me with questions." Jason on the other hand was quiet and though he was angry he hadn't said anything just yet.
• "Well, I say let's embrace it now. I am not going to deny having you as a girlfriend." Jason finally stated. Yeah, he hated to be on camera, but he wanted a relationship with, and this was part of it.
• "I know but I didn't want us to be portrayed like this either." She was clearly upset. Jason smoothed her hair, "Let's go for a ride."
