• After a while, both moms leave Celine and her blind date, Raffy, behind, hoping they would hit it off and agree to a date and hopefully get married in the future. But Celine had a rule. No dating within her circle and people within six degrees of separation. This was because she was a very private individual and did not want her romantic life plastered all over social media. Not even within her social circle.
• ‘So, Raffy, I see your mom managed to drag you out of bed, get you dressed, and agree to this date on this pleasant Saturday morning, huh?’ She poured herself more tea. Celine wanted to show him she did not want to sit and pretend they were coming out as friends after this set-up.
