• Wren's POV
• Caelum didn't say a word as we left his office, his hand had only tightened around my wrist, not yet bruising but almost as he dragged me away from the meeting. His body was tense with fury but I couldn't tell who it was aimed at.
• We reached our room and Caelum swung the door open and slammed it behind us. He stalked towards the bathroom with a change of clothes. I sighed as I watched him close the door, he was probably mad at me for stepping in when he had it under control.
