• My paws pounded the floor with silent thuds, I ran quietly, hoping to outrun the feeling of helplessness and panic that overtook me on the last challenge.
• I had become quite the celebrity as people were coming up to me either to congratulate or wish me luck or spit and curse in my face. It wasn't something I told my best friends or Caelum about though, I could handle bullying. Besides, they didn't know me so they couldn't hurt me.
