• The room fell silent, then erupted into chaos, but for a heartbeat, I heard nothing. Everything inside me folded inward like a collapsing star as my vision blurred and my wolf saw red. My wolf didn’t just react, she attacked, going straight for Rowan’s neck only for us to be held down by someone's arms.
