• Melanie stood at the edge of the construction site, scanning the progress with a sense of satisfaction. The collaboration between BioCrest and EcoNexus had proven to be smoother than she anticipated. Steel beams stood tall, and workers moved in a coordinated rhythm, guided by supervisors barking out instructions. It was all coming together faster than expected, and for once, she allowed herself a moment of pride.
• As she turned toward the parking lot, she realized Mike hadn’t returned. She had sent him off with Sophie to the government house for some paperwork that needed signing.
• It turns out that they needed to disconnect some underground cables in order to work freely through the area and somehow it wasn’t mentioned during the initial land survey, so the companies needed to sign a supplementary agreement with the government that it would be replaced after the project has passed that level.
