Chapter 2 I Will Make You Pay Me Back in Blood!

  • Lu Licheng scoffed, then turned around and got dressed as if he felt disgusted  looking at her any longer.
  • Su Yao's entire body was ice-cold. It felt like someone had suddenly splashed a bucket of ice water over her!
  • Just because she liked him, did that mean that she was the one who naturally set this up?
  • No matter if she was innocent or not, did she have to lose out anyway?
  • Just because she liked him, did that mean he could stomp relentlessly on her dignity?
  • And even, violently stomp her down a few times?
  • She was as lowly as the dirt, but it was all because she liked him?!
  • With a pale white complexion, Su Yao bit down on her lip, had.
  • "Su Yao, you best pray that nothing happens to Zhou Tong. Otherwise, I won't forgive you!"
  • With that said, Lu Licheng slammed the door open and left.
  • ......
  • The weather was good a moment ago but all of a sudden, it was pouring down with rain.
  • Lu Licheng's entire body emitted a chilling aura as if he was disconnected with the world. Standing at the entrance to A&E, He looked like a malevolent ghost who emerged from hell.
  • Zhou Tong got in a car accident an hour ago and was rushed into A&E.
  • She was overcome with sadness. On top of it all, the heavy rain obscured her vision, so she didn't see the big truck with the broken brakes and smashed head on into it.
  • The car was seriously distorted when it was sent in and Zhou Tong didn't have a heartbeat. The doctors issued a death certificate right away, and Lu Licheng choked out the doctor like a crazy person. He ordered the doctor to save her or he would take his life.
  • The doctor was frightened, so they pushed Zhou Tong into A&E in a panic and hadn't dared to come out till now.
  • "Mr. Lu," Abby saw how distracted Lu Licheng looked and was hesitant to talk. "You saw the situation earlier. Miss. Zhou's heartbeat had already stopped. I'm sorry for your loss..."
  • "Shut up!" Roared Lu Licheng, as he looked at Abby with crimson red eyes. "She's not dead, and she won't die. I won't allow her to die!"
  • Abby sighed softly, but didn't say another word.
  • She was Lu Licheng's assistant who has worked for him since the first day he took over the company. And yet, she had never seen him like that before.
  • Lu Licheng may be young, but he was very sophisticated. He never wore his emotions on his face, so Abby was used to seeing him calm and composed. She really wasn't used to seeing him in this current state.
  • But seeing just how important Miss. Zhou Tong was to Mr. Lu...
  • Abby couldn't help but worry for Su Yao. In the past, quite a few women plotted to get with Mr. Lu in hopes of getting somewhere in life. However, every single one of those women ended up miserable. If Zhou Tong really couldn't be saved then...
  • Abby didn't dare to think how Su Yao was going to end up.
  • Lu Licheng stood motionlessly at the entrance of the emergency room. His eyes were transfixed upon the doors as if Zhou Tong would push open the doors and walk over to him with a smile at any second.
  • His arms were by his side, tightly clenched into fists. He thought about how Zhou Tong's entire body was covered in blood and his heart couldn't help but ache!
  • If Su Yao hadn't planned everything out and deliberately made Zhou Tong catch them, would she have ended up like this?
  • Lu Licheng thought about Su Yao's annoying face and couldn't help but want to strangle her to death!
  • A hint of ferocity flashed across Lu Licheng's eyes.
  • Su Yao, you had better pray that Zhou Tong is safe and well. Otherwise, I want you to live a life worse than death!
  • *Click* The door opened. The doctor shook their head and sighed as they walked through the doors.
  • "Mr Lu, Miss. Zhou's injuries were simply too severe. We tried our best..."
  • A second later, Zhou Tong was pushed out of the emergency room with a white sheet over her body. She wasn't breathing.
  • Lu Licheng's pitch-black pupils were stifled by heartache as his gaze fell upon the white sheet.
  • Like a statue, he looked at it silently and motionlessly for a long time.
  • Abby couldn't watch any longer. "Mr. Lu, Miss. Zhou has passed away..." She whispered.
  • Lu Licheng didn't say a word and the hospital staff didn't dare move. All they could do was stare anxiously at Abby.
  • Abby waved her hand as if to pardon them. Then, they hurriedly took Zhou Tong's body away.
  • All of a sudden, Lu Licheng spun around and strode out of the door whilst waves of cold air released from his body like he had just stepped out of an igloo. Describing it made people tremble with fear.
  • "Abby, call the marketing department and stop supplying to Su Corp. Make the necessary preparations to demand they pay back the thirty million that they owe us. Also, give Chief Liu from the police department. Tell him that I want Su Yao to pay me back in blood!"
  • Abby couldn't help but shudder. "Got it!" She replied swiftly.
  • ......
  • Both her legs seemed like anchors, as Su Yao walked home one step at a time.
  • The tears slowly blurred her vision.
  • Even if they had grown up together, Lu Licheng only had eyes for Zhou Tong from the very start. He never knew that she and Zhou Tong's birthday was only one day apart.
  • Today was her birthday.
  • She lost her virginity and what's more, she lost the love that she hid for ten years in her heart.
  • Her twentieth birthday was unforgettable.
  • Just as she opened the door, she didn't have time to even look at the situation inside when suddenly, she heard a *Bang!* It was the sound of an object being smashed. Fresh blood suddenly poured from her forehead.
  • "You impudent daughter! You actually know to come home?" The sound of Su Zhangzhong yelling followed. "We usually spoil you and let you do what you want, so you fearlessly pull Lu Licheng into your scheming ways?! And, you even shamelessly slept with him?! You've completely dragged the Su family name through the mud!"
  • The fresh blood blurred her vision. She felt a pain in her forehead, but it was a fraction of the pain she felt in her heart.
  • Other people may not believe her, but why did her parents not believe her either?
  • How many times did she have to say that she didn't do it before they'll believe her?
