Chapter 5

• Louisa sat on the chair with her legs curled up and her arm wrapped around her legs staring at the business card she flung on the table.
• Her face was contorted with rage, she clenched her jaw and curled her lips in anger. She hated being disrespected! She hated herself for being so powerless and miserable.
• " How dare he? How dare he talk me down in my own home!!" She shouted aggressively as she stood upright on the chair ,stomping her feet on the partially torn sofa and waving her hair relentlessly.
• She took Danna's doll and strangulated it, hitting , slapping and pinching it to reduce her anger.
• " What do you say your name is? Declan?Declan? ,To hell with you, to hell with you, you think you're rich uhn? You want to walk over me uhn, to hell with you son of a motherfucking  bitch!!" She yelled while hitting the doll.
• Few minutes earlier Declan and Louisa had a very short conversation and contact.
• " I am Declan and I bring you good tiding that will sure bring you out of your life of misery, I don't know why, but it seems my boss has found some likeness in you, here is my card, give me  a call. Also be preparing to leave this ..yuck" he said irritably circling his fingers around her home and immediately walked away hurriedly.
• "Who is your boss, what nature of work and who the heck are you aside being a brat?!" She questioned but her questions were left unattended to.
• " To hell with him and his boss she said" she whispered breathing heavily.
• She got herself a glass of water, freshened and prepared to step out .
• " Danna, sis gotta step out, I have to job hunt, I won't stay out too long, promise me you'd be okay?" The said.
• " I'd be fine Louisa" Danna responded
• "Pinky finger?, Pinky finger" the both chorused crossing their fingers.
• She pulled her cheek, rubbed her head and kissed her sofly on the head before she walked away.
• As she ambulated down the street she saw Alexis from afar walking upwards towards her direction, she turned briskly, clenched her bag firmly to her side and increased her pace.
• " Louisa ! Louisa! Please wait, hear me out" Alexis shouted.
• She halted and slowly turned.
• " Hear what out? I mean what do you have to say to me Alexis? You insulted me! Humiliatiled me in front of your  girlfriend, okay I'm all ears , let's hear what you have say." She said.
• " Louisa dear, you know you're the only one for me, you are my girlfriend and will always be, I love you more that you can ever imagine. It's jusy that that day there was a little confusion, you see Blair offered me a position that can better our lives, that's the only reason I got close with her, that night we only made out, I didn't have sex with her because I love  you!! I rejected sex from a sophisticated lady that is how much I love you!"
• Louisa folded her arms across her chest, her nostrils flared as she looked at Alexis, it was difficult to believe he was that daft and she had not noticed sooner, she let her hands fall beside her, clenching them into a firm fist, she grit her teeth, her eyes narrowed into slit as she stared at him.
• She walked closer to him clapping her hands and laughing emptily
• " I must award you that you only made out with her, as a matter of fact you deserve some an accolades for not sleeping with her, I am so proud of you, thank you so much for making me happy you God forsaken motherfucker!.Never in your entire existence show up before me!." She said and walked out on him.
• " You'd regret your decisions, I have a job now, I can make us Rich,but you'd rather walk out because of a light mistake that occurred? Really ? ,Well you have my number, make sure you call me when you are in need." He blurted.
• Louisa again turned swiftly and plugged into him, she landed a slap oh his face before he could utter another word.
• " That is a token to wake you from your slumber and stupidity, I forgot about you and any thing we had the moment you denied me!" She said and once again walked away.
• Alexis held is his face and stared at her with his jaw dropped, he has never in his lifetime thought Louisa could slap hit him, she was the mild and never violent type and she was desperately in love with him.
• " She just hit me, Louisa just me " he repeated and he turned his back still holding his cheek and smiling sheepishly.
• Suprisingly her act of courage and bravery, the fire in her eyes and the Swift and sharp movement of her tongue only made Alexis want her more, he craved to place a soft kiss on her lips as he walked away
• "Her glare ...when did she become this courageous?, Why didn't I see this part of her? You're mine Louisa and you will always be mine" he thought.
• Louisa walked from store to store seeking for job, companies to companies seeking vacancy but never had the courage to go any entertainment industry. While she was on the street she stopped in front of an huge entertainment industry who manages  alot of stars in the entertainment world.
• " Limelight entertainment industries" she whispered.
• She could only wish, " if wishes were horses beggers would ride. She turned and reluctantly dragged her feet, thinking of the words her boss " ominiknowest" had said.
• " Yeah, music ain't for me, music ain't for me" she kept repeating until tears started rolling of her uncontrollably. She trudged down the path that led to her home with her heads bowed, kicking pebbles and bitterly complaining about her miserable life.
• She was just few steps away from home when she she heard her name, from a  voice which seemed familiar.
• She briskly raised her head and plugged down the road faster.
• " It can't be who I think it is" she thought
• After few steps down, she halted at the sight of her endlessly self centered boss.
• "Oh it is who I thought it was, I guess the wizard is not done trowing shades at me, Louisa be ready for yet another bitter story."she whispered.
• She sauntered down till she met her boss heads on exactly in front of her apartment.
• " Hey!! Louisa dear! How are you?" He said restlessly and guilt ridden.
• Louisa squinted her eyes, bit her lip and and pouted her mouth leaving his question question hanging in the air for some minutes.
• "All thanks to you my life is in chaos, my body is not in sync with my mind and I think I might loose it anytime soon you moronic being!" She replied in her head.
• " Louisa? Louisa?"her ex boss called.
• His voice jolted her out of her thought leaving her with no choice than to reply.
• "You mean.. ohh...yeah...I am absolutely fine and okay, how else would I be ?" She replied smiling dryly.
• " Oh Louisa dear, that's good, won't you invite me in?" He questioned.
• " Oh my bad, sorry come let's go in" she replied and she struggled to open the door.
• She offered him a chair to sit in and a glass of cold water, she would have loved to serve it with some cookies and glass of chilled juice but water was all she could offer.
• She took a seat opposite to him, folded her legs and interlocked her finger between each other.
• '' if I may ask, how did you know my home"?
• He dropped the glass of water in his hand on the table,cleared his throat and chuckled.
• "Forgotten it's in your file? Though Chloe helped a bit too" he said.
• " I will so kill that girl" she thought.
• " Can we cut to the chase now?" Louisa ordered.
• " Yes..yes..sure..you see Louisa, I am willing to give you your job back, the artist you worked with the last time came back, infact her condition worsened, her voice is finally broken, but she doesn't want her fan to notice most importantly she isn't ready to give up the fame as well as the money involved. She promised to give you a 2 dollar raise...juicy right? You can start next week" he said beaming.
• " What a huge amount of raise" louisa whispered.
• " You said?" 
• " I said I am sorry, I cannot take the job, actually I just got a better job" she said.
• She leaned closer and sat legs akimbo,clutching her palms together between her legs.
• "Guess what? It's in a music industry too, tell your broken artists to be scared, I have worked with a number of them and I am sure their fans  loved my style of singing, what then happens when I come out into the limelight?"she said laughing hysterically.
• He sprang out of his chair and paced around..
• "What if I add 3 dollars to it to make it 5 dollars?" He said
• " You must really think that I think wretchedly, but you're wrong, if that is all I'd like to do few things" Louisa said as she walked towards door to open it.
