• Pennie knew what Jocelyn was getting at, so she took over the conversation. “Jocelyn, don’t overthink this. The entire industry knows that’s just how John is.”
• Is that his real personality? Doesn’t that make him really quirky? Jocelyn had only ever heard of unverified rumors about John. Now that she heard what Pennie told her, she decided to investigate if the rumors were true.
• She wanted to know if he had any underlying issues with him. It would be a waste of time if his attitude somehow affected the filming process. After all, Jocelyn didn’t want to spend too much time away on set. All she wanted was to finish filming as soon as possible in order to return to Sebastian. She didn’t mention any of that to Pennie though. Instead, she merely gave her a faint nod. “Alright, Pennie. I will get some rest now.”
