Chapter 51
- Jessie’s POV
- Living with Olivia and Cal has been a beautiful kind of chaos—a rhythm I never knew I needed until I found myself in the middle of it.
- Our mornings were a blend of soft kisses and sleepy laughter, half-filled coffee mugs, and the sound of little feet scurrying down the hallway. Our evenings were even better. By the time I got home from the hospital, dinner was usually warm and waiting. Cal would pull me into a hug the moment I walked through the door. Olivia would already have tucked Sophie and Cal Jr. into bed, or she’d be singing quietly as she brushed out Sophie’s curls. Sometimes, we’d curl up together on the couch and talk about our day, other times we just held each other in silence, the kind that said everything without saying a word.
