• It was already late when Nathan and Elizabeth finally said their goodbyes and returned to the hotel. The apartment grew quiet again, leaving only Joshua and Ivy on the sofa. The soft glow of the lights wrapped the room in warmth, as if protecting the intimacy of their private conversation.
• Joshua leaned back comfortably, one arm draped around Ivy’s shoulders. She looked as though her thoughts were still far away, her gaze fixed on the wide window that revealed the Seoul skyline at night.
