Chapter 27
- “Damn it!” Clara cursed the moment she stormed into the main living room of the Jung estate. A few of the house staff flinched at the arrival of the youngest daughter of the household—Clara Jung. Their eyes widened further as she flung her purse carelessly onto the sofa.
- “Sweetheart,” Rico approached her cautiously. “Don’t do this.”
- “Why not?” Clara snapped, glaring at him before dragging her hand down in frustration. She began pacing furiously across the marble floor, her heels clicking sharply against the stone, each step a punctuation mark to her brewing storm of anger.
