• Punished? Bells rang in Ruby's head but they weren't warning bells. They were excited bells that chimed non-stop. She didn't know what Jaxon would do or say but her whole body tingled with anticipation.
• "Punished, but why? I didn't do anything wrong." She defended herself.
• "Oh, you know exactly what you did wrong but you're playing dumb." He said. His lips turned up in a smirk as he stepped closer to her. Jaxon stopped an inch or two from her and then leaned down so that he was at eye level.
