• Ruby slowly opened the door to her room and peeped through the small gap before completely walking out.
• She made sure that there was no sign of movement and tiptoed through the hallway. Just as she got to the stairs she saw Jaxon making his way up and the moment their eyes met, she gasped and made a dash to her room.
