• Ruby was terrified and her heart pounded so loudly in her chest that she could hear it. Why had she come here? She thought as her eyes watered and tears flowed down her cheeks in steady streams.
• She glanced at Kim who was staring at her with a psychotic look in her eyes. She had never seen Kim like that before. Hair in disarray, malnourished and looking all around tattered. She didn't even dare to look Kim directly in her eyes for fear that it would anger her.
