• Their stay in Russia hadn't been planned but Ruby found herself enjoying it thoroughly. In the two days that has passed she found herself relishing the time she was spending with Jaxon. On the other hand, it was a break from all the things that had been happening to her.
• She suddenly thought of her parents and the smile that had been on her face faltered. She was slowly coming to terms with their demise but she was healing from it.
