• Jaxon kept glancing at Ruby as he drove away from the graveyard. He felt helpless tad he watched the soft shaking of Ruby’s body as she cried.
• She was looking away from him and Jaxon hated that. He didn’t want her to ever feel the need to hide her pain away from him. Ruby was staring out the window and Jaxon sighed softly as he placed a hand on her thigh.
• “Gem, are you okay? Do you need something?” Jaxon softly asked and Ruby’s heart clenched as her crying reduced to small sniffles.
