• The white hospital walls felt like they were closing in on Zara. The lights above were too bright, too cold. Everything felt loud including the beeping machines, footsteps outside the door, the rustle of nurses walking by. Her head ached, and her body wouldn’t stop fidgeting. Nothing felt right. Something deep inside her just wouldn’t calm down.
