• I groaned loudly in my attempt to let off some steam. How could Jordan insinuate that I had done everything on purpose? I was hurt, I was scared, and yet he had the guts to come into my room and tell me how mad I was.
• I knew what I saw, I knew what I felt, my abductor had been in my room and he had hurt me. I wasn't going mad, I was too sure of it to believe that it could be an illusion. I was so angry at Jordan and also disappointed in myself. I still didn't understand why I was always looking for something different, thinking he would be better or change or act like an actual person with correct reasoning. The past few days I had been expecting too much from him and got disappointed every time.
