- At the hospital, Elias watched as the doctor cleaned and dressed Raven's wounds. "Does your hand still hurt?" he asked as he sat down on a nearby chair.
- "No, it does not," Raven replied, shaking her head. "Thank you!"
- She was truly, whole-heartedly grateful to him. Only heaven knows just how thankful she was to see him back there.
