• “Next time, I won’t let you go. No matter how nicely you ask me!” Aries’s words were ringing in Cara’s head as the car stopped with a jerk. Cara faced Keith, who removed his seatbelt and stepped out of the car without exchanging any words with her.
• Cara thought he would stop at her side, but he went inside the apartment complex, leaving her alone in the car. His indifferent behaviour was hurting her now, and she feared one thing the most, i.e., he was no longer interested in her.
• Cara pressed her lips and stepped out of the car, following him to the elevator. She kept glancing at him while the latter’s eyes were pinned to the small screen, waiting for his floor number to appear.
