Chapter 29 Devil In Disguise

• Cara enjoyed a couple of shots with Jasper and Lydia, forgetting about all her worries. She had a place to stay for free and a job to support herself. All she had to do now was to look for an apartment, and Lydia promised to help her.
• “Woah!” Jasper widened his eyes as he watched Cara taking another shot of vodka. “I think you’ve had enough!” He took the small tumbler from her hand and pulled her to the dance floor. Cara smiled, throwing her arms around Jasper as they danced, standing close to each other, oblivious to Keith, who was throwing daggers in their direction.
• “You look happy!” Jasper enjoyed watching Cara’s free spirit.
