Chapter 58 Aries's Instinct

• Cara opened the door of her one-bedroom house and Milo growled at her, displaying his anger for abandoning him alone all night. Cara threw her bag on the floor rushing into her bedroom and slumped on the bed crying. Milo followed her, jumped on the bed mewling and tried to remove Cara’s hand from her face with his paw.
• But when she started howling, even Milo got scared of her and hopped down from the bed, sitting in the corner staring at her as the room echoed with her pain. “Dad was right when he said not to trust anyone!” She continued to cry her eyes out, berating herself for easily trusting everyone.
• “Everyone I trust betrays me in the end!” She cried covering her face in the pillow.
