• “What! She raised her hand at you?” Cynthia seethed in pure anger as Isla gave her the details of the party while Alfred was comfortably sitting on the couch and listening to the two women. “Alfred, did you listen? Cara seems to be overstepping her boundaries. We must do something to put her back in place!”
• Alfred huffed, and his gaze briefly shifted to Isla. “I don’t believe Cara would hit her! She knows she will be in deep shit if tried to play with us. Isla, tell me the truth! Did she hit you?”
• “I mean she didn’t hit me but… She raised her voice at me!!” Isla said, and Alfred groaned in frustration.
