Chapter 98 Heartbreak Is Inevitable

• Dr David looked out of the window as he drove on an empty road and finally stopped on the side when Isla came into his view. She was lying lifeless on the side and he stepped out of the car, rushing over to her.
• “Isla!” he panicked as he turned her in his direction. Her soulless eyes looked at nothing in particular. Dr David helped her to sit. “Are you okay?” He rubbed her back. “Let me get you some water.” He rushed back to his car and bring a bottle with him.
• Isla took a sip. “Come on, let’s go to my place! You don’t look good.” He helped her to stand and took her to his car.
