• Jasmine crawled away from under him, even though her body shrieked in agony. She scrambled off towards the bed and sat against it, hugging her knees. She was disoriented. The pain from the beating was intolerable. Her entire body was burning, throbbing and spasming.
• "Ohh, poor baby! Did your husband make them punish you? It's a shame." Max sat down on his knees in front of her. "Vince doesn't value true beauty. Look at the bruises. Those lips, tut tut! How could he let them assault such beautiful lips. They're made to kiss, not ripped open."
