• The party was boring. Way too snobbish and show-off to suit Kyle's taste. He got bored of Vince's family. They gave the impression of trying to please everyone who had a fat bank balance. Kyle didn't associate with such people but business was business, and Vince had an impressive project that piqued his interest. Furthermore, such parties were inevitable.
• He excused himself within ten minutes. He found a cozy corner that gave him a good look over the entire hall. He leaned against a pillar and sipped from his drink. His lips twisted in disgust when he saw a young woman giving signals to a man her father's age.
