• Kyle tried not to wince as the nurse cleaned the road rash with cotton pads. His arm had swollen and there were beads of blood peeking through the scraped skin. Kyle wasn't alone. Lila had arrived at the spot ten minutes after the explosion.
• First the fire brigade came then police cars. Someone had called the former and as the rescue team arrived, they carried Kyle away to a waiting ambulance. Using a phone of one of the helpers, Kyle dialled Falcon's number first. But he wasn't picking and, and thus Kyle ended up calling Lila who came as quickly as possible.
