- Jasmine's eyes flickered open to the intense light shining down on her. She kept her eyelids close for a while until she could adjust with the light. When she opened them again, her heart thudded anguishly.
- She curled her fingers and tried not to freak out. That's because she was back in that same old room she didn't think she would go back to— Vince and her bedroom in their marital house.
