Aria wanted to push it, to press him with the questions that swirled in her mind, but she held herself back. Instead, she followed Stefan as he moved with quiet confidence around the building, giving her a tour of the place. She tried not to appear too impressed, though the sight before her tested her composure.
The kitchen stretched out like something from another world—immense, gleaming, and filled with every possible gadget and modern appliance. It was the sort of space she had only seen in glossy magazines, yet she had no clue how to operate half of what she saw.
