• In the V-8 laboratory Veyra was going around checking the specimens in the glass chamber while Vira stood watching her. The latter had made up her mind not to speak to her unless she was being spoken to.
• Her trial at starting up a conversation had failed multiple times, so she figured it was best to keep quiet for a while.
• As Veyra strolled to each of the chambers, she took note of each specimen’s recovery, health status and the quick healing around their head where the operation had taken place. Operation Holloway was now nearing its end and she could not wait to update Lazik on the status.
