Chapter 31

• The next place Jace found himself after clicking on the “Yes” button was outside an abandoned subway entrance. The place was strange and deserted. Jace was certain he had never been to the location before.
• It was dark, and a mist covered the entire tunnel. As Jace stepped onto the staircase, his footsteps echoed, breaking the silence ahead. He continued further, caressing his open arms as the air became colder.
• He shook his head, wishing he had not worn his lightweight t-shirt.
