• Serex was outside his boss’s office waiting for him to come out. As he stood, his thoughts turned to the recent news reports about the HaleTech company.
• That news had come as a shock and surprise to him. He was aware that his boss was responsible for the rival company's demise, but he never imagined it would be possible.
• He was quick-witted and had begun suspecting that something was wrong with his boss. There was something strange about him; was it the way he threw him at the stair rail that night, or the way he caught him during his fall down the stairs?
