• The grab on his leg was strong as it yanked his pants and pulled him into the room. Jace looked down and was surprised to see a young girl tugging at him with tears in her eyes. She appeared to be terrified and traumatized by what was happening.
• Jace gently carried her in his arms and turned to leave, but the door caught fire and blocked their exit.
• Jace looked around, but there was no way out, and the fire was slowly approaching them.
