Chapter 97 Feeling Jealous

• I plastered a smile on his face when I saw them escaping. I knew the penalty was death, but I ignored the whole situation and returned to Jake before informing him what was happening. I couldn't help feeling accomplished. He rushed back to the room and noticed that no one was there. He lunged forward and immediately started searching for them. I also helped in the search while hoping that he would find them so that he could complete the mission and kill them. My heart was pounding so fast; many thoughts ran through my mind. I was trying so hard to calm my nerves, but the bubbling excitement made me smile.
• "And what's so funny?" Jake asked with evident rage in his voice. I immediately frowned as I shook my head, telling him that it was nothing. We were still searching for them in the forest. Before I could say a word, he pinned me hard against the nearby tree. His gaze was intense as he stared deeply into my eyes. "Tell me what the fuck is funny, because I have always known Bianca, and something is going on in that cunning mind of yours, so tell me right now." He said, raising his voice. I should have been scared of his action, but rather it made me fall in love with him even more. I have always loved the masculine side of him; the way he talks and demands authority made me feel something intense.
