• “Whenever you are ready.” Amber responded with a gentle nod, nestling into my arms, our faces barely apart from each other. I could taste her exhale, and every part of me wanted to tear this girl apart this night. After much staring, Amber fell asleep, and I put a kiss on her forehead, coming down from the bed and leaving the door.
• I walked to the kitchen, searching for my favorite drinking mug in the drawer, and when I found it, I took it to the sink, pouring in some fresh water and sipping it down my throat. “This night couldn't get any better.” Exhaling, I found myself back in the room, lying beside Amber in my arms.
