Chapter 12 First Time

• Leah stared at her reflection in the mirror. She wore a simple red dress, her straight golden-blonde hair left loose, cascading over her shoulders — but her eyes were filled with doubt.
• She had received a message from Elise that today was the last day to submit participation forms for LA Fashion Week. Elise had already downloaded and filled out the form, but Leah had to personally go to the LAFW office to submit it.
• The hardest part, though, was asking her father for permission — especially when she wasn't allowed to go anywhere without his approval.
