Chapter 9 Leaving The Night Walker Pack

• They were currently in front of Claire's house. Cameron had called for a driver from his pack. Claire gasped when she saw the beautiful car. She knew a little about cars and she could tell this was a brand new black Chevron suv 2022. The interiors were plush and the seats were well padded. A bulky man with a deep scowl on his face, came up to Claire and Ashley and took her bags from them. He dumped them unceremoniously in the car's trunk and went back to the driver's side.
• Cameron was speaking furiously on the phone, while Callan typed away on his phone. She honestly pitied anyone on the receiving end of the call. He wasn't talking to her but his voice sent shivers down her spine. Ashley slightly elbowed her and smirked knowingly, making Claire's cheeks tint pink.
• Claire's steps were wobbly as she walked so her mates had asked– scratch that– ordered her to sit inside the car, while they did whatever they were doing.
