Chapter 57 The Annual Ball

• The door slammed behind Elena snapping her back to reality. She only just realized that Elena had run out of the room. As much as Claire wanted to hate her for running away, she couldn't blame her. It was her fault for hiding such a huge secret all these months.
• Anyone would have the same reaction as her if they were told that their best friend wasn't just a normal girl like her. Claire's lips curled downwards and she let out a sigh and sat on her bed.
• She had approximately two hours to get ready for the ball. Claire immediately rushed to the bathroom to take a much needed shower. She knew Elena was in shock right now and she didn't want to stress her or it would hurt the baby.
