• “Did I hurt you, Cameron?” Claire asked again, barely able to control her emotions. Their backs were still turned to her and she couldn't help but feel worthless. She hurt her mate. Intentionally or not, that doesn't change the fact that she had hurt her mate.
• “You need to get some rest.” Cameron said stiffly, his back still turned to her.
• Mustering up the little strength she has, she staggered towards their direction. She stood in front of the door, stopping them from leaving. “I remember. You don't have to lie to me. I know I did.
