Chapter 6 Where Is Claire?

• Callan paced the study room as he ran his hand through his jet black hair. Their mate should have been here by now, and it was evening already and there was still no sign of her. His mind went frantic as different thoughts swarmed his head. Was she attacked on her way here? Did she get lost or something? He knew they should have brought her by themselves, and now he was regretting not doing so.
• “Calm down, will you?” Cameron said from across the room. “She will probably be here anytime soon.” Cameron tried to reassure, but Callan could still hear the worry in his tone. He was also worried about their mate.
• His brother rarely showed any sort of affection towards anyone but he could tell that Cameron already cared about their little mate. It's impossible not to immediately grow attached to your soul mate.
