Chapter 70 Elena's Turmoil

• “I think you should hear him out, Lena dear. He regrets what he did to you and wants to make changes. Isn't that what you've always wanted? For him to finally accept you.” Elena's mother, Dana, said it for the third time that morning. Elena was beginning to get sick and tired of it.
• “Why don't you just let it go, mom?” Elena said through gritted teeth as she drank the sour tasting smoothie her mother made for her. Apparently, it would help with the nausea and morning sickness, but rather she felt like she was going to throw up any minute.
• “I can't just let it go, Elena. At least think about the baby inside of you. A child needs his or her father in their life. Do you really want to deprive your baby of that?” She asked in a stern voice that sounded more like malice.
