• “Really?” Mrs. Smith asked as her husband broke the good news to her.
• When Ivy had told the doctor she was going to get the money for the surgery, Mrs. Smith had thought it was impossible and was ready to give up. Ivy had already tried all she could for her and she was not ready to be a burden anymore to the family anymore.
